Everyone meet “NUTS”, our new addition! =)

So we planted a Money Tree and look what we got…….NUTS!!! HAHAHAHAHA
Meet NUTS and he is awesome – we love him so much. Are you wondering why we call him NUTS? Well we purchased him from a company that sells auto parts and all over the truck it said “More than Half NUTS”, sooooooo we felt it only necessary to name him NUTS. I mean WE are completely NUTS, so it only fits!!
We added NUTS to our fleet for ALL those amazing events & weddings we design that involve the creative pieces of furniture or simply the EXTRA that we put into everything we do.
Could NOT be more excited about this addition to the C-Wat and Twisted Dish family =)

It’s That Time of the Year Again!!

SUPER BOWL PARTY TIME!!!

DEVIATE FROM THE NORM!!!

Serve Something a Little Different!

I Give You…

SUPER BOWL PIZZA DIP!!!

Here is what you will need:

  • Beer (your favorite)
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise (not that Miracle Whip stuff…use the real thing!)
  • 12 oz. pepperoni (chop it like your team just lost)
  • 1 lb shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Did I mention beer?
  • 1 tomato (diced like a player’s contract)
  • 10 sliced black olives (use more if you want or use less…no biggie)
  • 1 – 8 oz. pkg cream cheese (leave it on the counter next to the Cheetos  to soften)
  • 4 Italian rolls sliced in ¾ inch pieces
  • Don’t forget the beer!!

It is important to follow these steps precisely:

First, drink a beer and scratch yourself.  Belch.  Next, in a bowl, mix mayo and softened cream cheese until blended.  This might wear you out a bit, so take a break and drink another beer.  Ooo…forgot to mention, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (like anyone uses Celsius, right?).  Add all the other ingredients (except for the beer) and mix.  Go ahead and have another beer.  Now, place the mixture in a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.  Ok, while it’s cooking, go ahead and kill that first twelve pack.  Next, pick yourself off of the floor and go over to the oven.  Hmmm…maybe you should have someone else take over.  Serve the dish warm with bread slices for dipping.

Here is a variation to turn it into a Mexican Dip.  Omit the pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, tomato and beer.  Substitute with cheddar cheese, salsa and Tequila.  Use tortilla chips for dipping.  OLE!!

What do you do with a Catering company that far exceeds your expectations and in 1 year grows leaps and bounds? You do what those that are driven to continue to blow minds do; you exceed it yet again – so 2012 WATCH OUT!!!!

We have already started 2012 with a BANG and have brought an amazing talent to our fantastic team as Catering Manager. Can’t wait for everyone to meet her!

Received a compliment today and had not looked at myself in this light – I was called an artist today and never actually realized how true that is, Catering with a Twist will embrace artistry and showcase this throughout 2012.

The word “Creative” might be over used, but we strive to truly bring this to the table – literally.

Looking back on 2011 and how much we have accomplished and changed, it blows my mind. Starting 2011 with an introduction Open House, showcasing our creativity and outside the box approach, ending the year with a booming wedding & holiday season. Then ALL the amazing people we have met, the insansely-outstanding vendors we have had the honor of working with and ALL the beautiful clients! We truly look forward to 2012 and creating more relationships with outstanding people.

Creativity is our focus for 2012!!
